Is this officially licensed?

Yes. This is an officially licensed EVANGELION product authorized by Khara, Inc.

What makes the Rei edition different from the Asuka edition?

Beyond the character theme, the Rei edition is the Centauri 80 (vs. 60 for Asuka), which adds a full function row, arrow keys, and the exclusive 325 PPI OLED touchscreen. The knob is Cool Silver (vs. Rose Gold). The sound profile is tuned lower and deeper. The design language is restrained where Asuka’s is assertive.

What is Hall Effect and why does it matter?

Hall Effect keyboards use magnetic sensors instead of physical contacts. Nothing touches, nothing wears out. Actuation is measured in continuous analog space — enabling 0.01mm Rapid Trigger, which is mechanically impossible with traditional switches.

Does Rapid Trigger require software running in the background?

No. Configure once via MelGeek Hive (open a browser — no install required), and all settings save to onboard memory. The keyboard runs fully standalone.

Is this a limited edition? Will it restock?

Yes, limited run. No planned restock. Once stock depletes, it will not return.
