What is MelGeek？
"MelGeek" can be understood as a combination of "Mel," which means honey in Latin, symbolizing sweetness and creativity, and "Geek," representing passion and expertise in technology.
Together, it conveys a brand that blends design sensibility with technical innovation.
Who‘s MelGeek？
Our company was established in 2014, and we have been in this industry for nearly a decade. Our CEO, Layne, brings years of experience from HUAWEI, which initially guided us to focus on providing solutions for various keyboard brands and other smart products. During this journey, he met our Product Design Director, Muni, a graduate of the UoL with a major in Art, who previously founded his own studio in Shanghai specializing in artistic and fashion products. Both of our founders share a deep passion for customized keyboards. In 2018, we proudly launched our brand, MelGeek.
The MelGeek R&D department comes from leading companies in the tech industry such as Huawei and DJI, possessing strong development capabilities and dedicated to innovation in the fields of smart hardware and embedded software. The team consists of several departments, including product design, hardware development, software development, and human-computer interaction design. The team accounts for over 50% of the total staff in the company.
We believe in originality. At MelGeek, we have always maintained a unique design style in our products, making them stand out and easily recognizable. MelGeek products are rigorously tested and calibrated in professional laboratories to guarantee that all data presented to the market is both objective and accurate.While MelGeek products may have a distinctive design, it’s important not to overlook the technical core of these products. After all, they are crafted by a group of 'Geeks' who pour their passion and creativity into their creation.
